965G, ADD2 HDMI, Toshiba TV: blank screen, X is operational

I had the same problem with my HTPC displaying on a 50" Samsung DLP. It had picture during boot, but went black as soon as X started.
On mine it turned out the EDID the TV supplied was not actually supported by the TV (!). Solution was to manually compose a mode line in xorg.conf and it has worked fine since.
I'd start by hooking up a computer monitor and see if you get a picture. If so, play with the mode line to find what the TV supports. My guess is that the TV reports a higher clock rate than it really is capable of displaying. Maybe try going to 720p and see if you get a picture and then take it up from there.

Thanks for the time spent looking at this and replying.
I have done the modifications.
I have the same result, X is started, I can use the application using my
remote control, but no picture.
New conf and logs here:

Ignore EDID sounds deprecated.
