I have installed xgl (+compiz) on a gentoo linux system and get the 
following error when I try to run gnome-window-decorator:
gnome-window-decorator, Failed to load shadow images

Linux 2.6.15, xorg-x11 7.0, gtk+ 2.8.12, glitz cvs 2006.02.23, xgl 
2006.02.24, compiz 2006.02.23

Any suggestions?
