Well, they are definitely _more_ frequent now than before, since releases are 
guaranteed to flush once every six months.  For most of the modules if 
they're not coming more frequently than that it's because the maintainer has 
decided otherwise.

For the server I anticipate doing biweekly snapshots that are known to pass 
'make distcheck', starting with RC1 today, and to keep doing that more or 
less in perpetuity.

At least in Fedora we try to avoid shipping CVS snapshots.  We'll occasionally 
backport major fixes as patches though.
