Another point: when we move to debrix, with everything modularized, it
would be nice to be able to factor out the input drivers completely.
The new driver allows this, but the old driver is tangled up with and
hardcoded into the initialization sequence and can not be separated from
the core server.
I think it would make good sense if we could drop the legacy driver when
the modular release goes out. Until then, here's a patch to disable
building the legacy driver by default, and print a big fat warning in
the case that somebody does anyway.
