Libraries and packaging problem

The new package deps layout using a sound pkg-config is at 
http://distro.conectiva.com.br/~claudio/xorg-new/. Most strange direct 
dependencies are gone.

Compare
http://distro.conectiva.com.br/~claudio/xorg/oclock.png (old, broken) and
http://distro.conectiva.com.br/~claudio/xorg-new/oclock.png.

There's still direct links to libSM and libICE hard-coded in the Makefiles. 
Are these really needed?
