Looks like a broken BIOS indeed. The initial code drop from ATI just ignored
tables version 4, though when I ask Hui why, he said he had problem with
pre-production cards, but would expect production ones to work. I suppose OEMs
screwed up as usual...

Not sure what best to do here... not using the tables version 4 will break other
people with perfectly good tables. Maybe we can find a way to sanity check them...
