I agree.  Thanks for the link to OpenBSD's cwm.

Fluxbox http://www.fluxbox.org/ is also a pretty nice window manager
that is MIT licensed.  Also, I am happy to discover that as of version
2.3.6, JWM http://www.joewing.net/programs/jwm, the one I mentioned
earlier, is licensed under the MIT license.
