Headless X with OpenGL over a drm render node

Hello,
I'd like to emulate a hardware accelerated desktop within a ssh session 
and access it through normal remoting software.
Grepping for 'renderD128' in the source returns nothing, so I assume
this is currently not supported.

>From my understanding all the heavy lifting has already been done and
a video driver similar to modesetting but without vt-related code should do.

I can work on such a driver if such use case is to be supported.
