Hello!

A month ago my daughter accidentally deleted the Crouton partition we had
created two+ years ago on this Yoga 11e Chromebook. She managed to
reinstall Crouton, and using xfce I managed to reload a lot of the packages
I'd lost, including Minecraft! However neither Java 7 or 8 were doing the
trick opening the .jar. When I thought to troubleshoot today I got this
message -

I'm attaching the crouton.log file for your review. It seems I'm not the
only one to have lost the tty0 file on their instance, see
https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton/issues/3339

Should I rebuild this file, or simply delete the Crouton instance and start
over? If so how? Sorry for the Amateur's Week questions, and thanks in
advance for your help!
