Xorg - linx mint cinnamon using a lot of memory

i reported that problem already there

but i didnt found a way to fix it yet.
but i noticed that it does happen with Gnome-classic and Gnome3 too,
but not in the same speed than with cinnamon. (currently 7,4GB)

i use the fglrx-updates driver.


(i currently use the [Radeon HD 7660D] one as far as my system says)
