Installed X.org server v 1.7.7_6,1 on FreeBsd 9.1 on Intel P8H61-M Le
mb; using hald and dbus set up on Monitor BENQ 2220HD : screen and mouse
worked ok but could not exit clean; ctl +Alt+F1 then Ctl + C just killed
OS. The Screen turned on and off several times with message of no input
and then system rebooted with unclean disk after third try, disk was too
corrupted to save; had to reilnstall. But on one of tries, I managed to
get fluxbox operating but that crashed the system when I tried to exit
from fluxbox.
I reinstalled FreeBSD 9.1 and it works fine with apache, mysql, php and
samba. But what do I do for graphics? I'd like to run blacktable but
can't without Xorg.
Any suggestions? Is there something special that needs to be configured
for this intel built-in graphics thingy (like the agp driver or some
other driver?) or must I get an external graphics card?
Thanks for any help
Phil
