This is just a stopgap release until synaptics 1.6 is ready (very soon).
The 1.5.0 release's tests do not build against the 1.12 server due to some
API changes. This release includes the necessary cherry-picks to make the
driver build again (#47498).
Also included are three patches that have been languishing on the branch for
too long. One fixing a ppc regression when checking for event bits, one
fixing the pressuremotion property format and one fix to unset the protocol
if auto-dev is the chosen device to avoid issues with devices not found if
both Protocol and Device "auto-dev" are in the xorg.conf
Cyril Brulebois (1):
Revert: "eventcomm: replace synaptics-custom TEST_BIT with server's BitIsOn."
Derek Foreman (1):
Fix pressure->motion property format
Peter Hutterer (5):
If protocol is auto-dev and the device path is set, unset the protocol
test: wrap ABI 14 xf86OptionRec type changes
test: fix build errors introduced by upstream server change
test: fix build error introduced in 9f9b55ab55ed5
