font rendering on rotated screens

The attached image shows a window of the popular xv program.
xv was started on a rotated screen (xrandr -o left/right).
The font rendering is correct if you first start xv and
rotate the screen afterwards.

xf86-video-intel-2.20.3
xorg-server-1.12.3
