If you're hitting the same bug I am, then it appears to be caused by
clients that create cursors. Julien Cristau noted on my Debian bug
report that a cursor-related leak may be fixed in 1.7.
I run E17 and my theme has customized cursors. I disabled that, and
my X server has been running at 33MiB for almost 24 hours.
