That would be a pre-G80 chip, which NVIDIA can't/won't fix for whatever
reason.  However, there's a chance nouveau may be able to drive your
panel at the correct resoultion with its randr1.2 support.  That is, if
you're willing to use an "unfinished" driver :)

To try it:
- Install nouveau (http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/InstallNouveau)
- Change "nv" to "nouveau" in xorg.conf
- Add 'Option "Randr12" "true"' to driver section of xorg.conf

There's usually someone around on #nouveau on freenode to assist if you
run into bugs / installation issues.
