vt switching via xtest not working in xorg-server 1.4.0.90

Hi,
It was indeed intentional.  If you pick a random keyboard
(XExtensionKeyboard) and send a DeviceKeyEvent, it'll all work fine.

Alternately, you could just use chvt.
