Xorg segfaults on XOpenDisplay multi thread

You have called XInitThreads?  (See "man XInitThreads")

(I don't know how thread-safe xorg is.  I have the impression that
there are some issues.  But without XInitThreads(), it isn't supposed
to be thread-safe).
