i810 module unloads, undefined symbol: fbGlyph8

I'm running Gentoo and the exa module unloads with "undefined symbol:
fbGlyph8" and then i810 unloads with "undefined symbol:
exaDriverFini".  Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
