xf86-video-ati-6.7.195 - don't load my customized video mode - and seems to work only with the buggy DDC video modes.

I've look at the sources, and IgnoreEdid is not implemented at all. A bug seems
to be there somewhere, but I've no investigated further. A fix is necessary, and
we need to know where the bug is located.
