Development of HCI

Hello people!I am planning to develop a HCI for my linux system.My project
is to develop a touchless interactive system using the movement of my
fingers as a result of which i need not touch any hardware and can still
operate my computer.Have any projects of such kind being developed
earlier?Please help me to start of this project.Do help me out by proving
valuable information and guidance to proceed this project.Awaiting a
response.
