You're stepping on an aching toe. VT switching bug hit us xf86-video-intel users again. 
Temp solution: disable DRI , enable SWCursor, leave only one mergedfb metamode.

P.S. Honestly, I'm sick beyond recognition with repeating breakage in here-or-there-or-somewhere-else with every new 
driver/kernel release. Spending metric shitloads of time trying to either rollback or find viable workaround, 
digging into the code, etc etc..Seems this war can't be won.
