Radeon 9250 screen always shifted right initially with TMDS monitor

Wild guess (based on my experience with Radeon X550 and NEC 20WGX2 at work) follows: issue with timings.

Does xvidtune help you eliminate it?

Do the modelines printed by xvidtune when you press the "show" button and the "recommended" modeline printed by "get-edid | parse-edid" (go to http://john.fremlin.de/programs/linux/read-edid/) command match?
