+1.  We can have separate gitwebs, and have:
git://anongit.freedesktop.org/git/{xorg,dbus,...}
versus:
git://people.freedesktop.org/git/users/{keithp,daniels,krh,...}

(Of course, anongit.fd.o/git/users/... will work, and conversely so will
 people.fd.o/git/xorg/..., but whatever.)
