Strange mouse problems

Hi I have a microsoft wireless 6000 laser mouse, and I am having problems
getting it to work in Centos 4.3.  The mouse works but the buttons click
randomly when over menus, and on the desktop as you move the mouse.
 
I have been searching the internet and have not been able to find any
solutions that have fixed my problem.  Some one on the Centos list suggested
trying this list.
 
If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.  Other USB mice that are
cored work fine.
