It seems that the card switches to Clone mode when it doesn't detect a
second monitor, no option in the config seems to stop that. The Xorg.log
file did say MergedFB was used. When i changed the MonitorLayout option
from "CRT, CRT" to "AUTO, AUTO" and connected both monitor it worked in
MergedFB mode. With "CRT, CRT" it doesn't seem to detect the monitors,
and switch to clode mode, with "Auto, Auto" it does detect the monitors,
and it does work in mergedfb mode. Interesting is also that i only have
two monitors, but output 3/4 seem to do clone, when output 1/2 do clone,
and do mergefb when output 1/2 does mergefb.

Would there be a way to force the mergefb setup without monitors being
attached to the card ?

I don't know if it is important but the FireMV 2400 has two VHDCI
connectors, that end up in 4 DVI-I connectors via two Y-cables.
