Yes, I meant dynamic framebuffer and output configuration. As some driver (e.g.
IEGD for embedded intel graphic cards) provides GUI utility to setup Clone mode
on the fly including resolution, this requeres the driver to add some kind of
attributes using which Clone mode can be set/unset. So I was wondering whether
these attributes could be done as general attributes to handle reconfiguration
requests.

Btw, is a driver able to see all default and user specified mode lines not
restristed to modes specified in Monitor section?

E.g. is a driver able to see all default modes? I'm playing with Clone a little
and I would like to reach to all modelines not only those specified in primary
monitor section. Is it possible? Or the only way is to compute GTF modelines?
