Hi,
Felix, let me talk a little about what I think of snapshots.
One beautifully day I and write to this dri-list and ask for snapshots
and I don't if you have already have it in mind but the snapshots
appears, and for what ?
We want people with stable and released distros can test new dri stuff,
therefore I propose the first snapshot target will be Xorg-6.8.2.
The second point; as we know dri devel is in Mesa tree and Mesa is in a
different tree of Xorg tree. When we have big differences between this 2
trees the snapshot could be a way to test it, before the dri be merged
into Xorg.
But, from what I can understand, Mesa 6.4 cvs branch as lastest stuff of
dri and drm and this will be merged into Xorg cvs, so for now we don't
have this second problem.
And what I ask is new snapshots of Xorg cvs with dri and drm merged to
test it isn't it.
Thomas, with
http://xorg.freedesktop.org/releases/X11R6.9-RC1/xorg-x11-6.8.99.901.tar.bz2 you just have to apply this patch http://sergiomb.no-ip.org/xorg/xorgRC1/SOURCES/xorg.cf.diff to enable savage dri
sorry for my poor English
thanks,
