Is it command-line-compatible with the C version of pkgconfig?  Is
there any problem with trying to get the authors of that (mainly
Havoc Pennington and Scott James Remnant, IIRC) to relicence if a
GNU-free-except-for-GCC build is utterly essential for Xorg?
