Memory leak in xorg-6.8.1?

Hi,
I am using SuSE 9.2 with the contributed xorg-6.8.1-15. When running the new
Adobe Reader 7beta, the process "X" starts to eat up all available memory and
also the swap space. I have a NVidia Geforce-4600 Graphic card with the
driver version "1.0-7174" from the NVidia Web Site.

"ps" outputs this:

root 5815 8.7 46.3 726484 359404 ? SL 07:21
11:23 /usr/X11R6/bin/X

When opening some .pdf-files the RSS-size increases:

root 5815 8.7 47.5 726484 368724 ? SL 07:21
11:33 /usr/X11R6/bin/X

When heavily working with the Adobe Reader the swap space gets filled up and
the machine is getting very slow.

When closing the Adobe Reader the RSS-size stays roughly the same.

It seems that also other applications, like Firefox trigger this problem, when
surfing a lot, the XOrg memory usage is getting high, although when closing
Firefox there is also memory freed - but not all.

Maybe that there are some bugs in the Adobe Reader/Firefox but to my mind this
is also a XOrg problem.

Are there any known fixes to my problem?

Best Regards,
Hermann
