can't start Xorg

You may be able to get FreeBSD-specific assistance from the FreeBSD lists.

I think the fixed font is provided by FreeBSD's xorg-fonts-miscbitmaps
package. You may want to make sure you have the other FreeBSD xorg-fonts-*
packages installed too.
