Frame buffer drivers for ATI Rage Mobility P/M

Thanks for your reply, the discussion is very fertile.

I need more help though.

   1. What parameter in the Kernel should I set (and where is it in the
      menuconfig)?
   2. Where do I get the Mach64 drivers?
   3. How to install the drivers (until now I tried to copy the files
      *_drv.o to /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers and *_dri.so to
      same/dri. Is that OK?)?
   4. How can I check if I installed them correctly?
   5. What definitions do I have to do in /etc/X11/xorg.conf (As I
noticed the most important one is "Driver" in the "Device"
section. Are there other important ones)?
