IMHO, if Qemu is/can be a true LGPL library, it could be used in principle
(just as we use glibc on platforms that use glibc).

What is clearly an insurmountable problem is GPL code/libraries;
there binary commercial drivers get in the way due to aggregation,
a fact of life that while I'm not happy about, is one we can't deal
with...

Given the investments many people/organizations have made in the X code
base, we must be careful that what we do preserves the aggregate
licensing that they contributed to in the first place; ex-post-facto
changes in what they can do with code to which they may have proprietary
extensions to would only encourage forks.
