[Xorg-driver-geode] Strange problem with geode driver

Hi ml.

I run into a very strange problem. Some weeks ago I reported some redraw
problems with the geode driver - see:
http://lists.x.org/archives/xorg-driver-geode/2011-October/001222.html

Now I found out the following:

If I run the java app normal, it seems like large areas get not redrawn.
Now I connect via VNC to this machine, every thing looks okay and
everything gets redrawn. This is very strange, if you ask me.

Does somebody has an idea?

Here are some more informations:

VNC server gets started with

x11vnc -forever &

12/01/2012 18:21:29 x11vnc version: 0.9.10 lastmod: 2010-04-28 pid: 2010
12/01/2012 18:21:29 Using X display :0.0
12/01/2012 18:21:29 rootwin: 0x48 reswin: 0x800001 dpy: 0x9197f70
12/01/2012 18:21:29
12/01/2012 18:21:29 ------------------ USEFUL INFORMATION ------------------
12/01/2012 18:21:29 X DAMAGE available on display, using it for polling hints.
12/01/2012 18:21:29 To disable this behavior use: '-noxdamage'
12/01/2012 18:21:29
12/01/2012 18:21:29 Most compositing window managers like 'compiz' or 'beryl'
12/01/2012 18:21:29 cause X DAMAGE to fail, and so you may not see any screen
12/01/2012 18:21:29 updates via VNC. Either disable 'compiz' (recommended) or
12/01/2012 18:21:29 supply the x11vnc '-noxdamage' command line option.
12/01/2012 18:21:29
12/01/2012 18:21:29 Wireframing: -wireframe mode is in effect for window moves.
12/01/2012 18:21:29 If this yields undesired behavior (poor response, painting
12/01/2012 18:21:29 errors, etc) it may be disabled:
12/01/2012 18:21:29 - use '-nowf' to disable wireframing completely.
12/01/2012 18:21:29 - use '-nowcr' to disable the Copy Rectangle after the
12/01/2012 18:21:29 moved window is released in the new position.
12/01/2012 18:21:29 Also see the -help entry for tuning parameters.
12/01/2012 18:21:29 You can press 3 Alt_L's (Left "Alt" key) in a row to
12/01/2012 18:21:29 repaint the screen, also see the -fixscreen option for
12/01/2012 18:21:29 periodic repaints.
12/01/2012 18:21:29
12/01/2012 18:21:29 XFIXES available on display, resetting cursor mode
12/01/2012 18:21:29 to: '-cursor most'.
12/01/2012 18:21:29 to disable this behavior use: '-cursor arrow'
12/01/2012 18:21:29 or '-noxfixes'.
12/01/2012 18:21:29 using XFIXES for cursor drawing.
12/01/2012 18:21:29 GrabServer control via XTEST.
12/01/2012 18:21:29
12/01/2012 18:21:29 Scroll Detection: -scrollcopyrect mode is in effect to
12/01/2012 18:21:29 use RECORD extension to try to detect scrolling windows
12/01/2012 18:21:29 (induced by either user keystroke or mouse input).
12/01/2012 18:21:29 If this yields undesired behavior (poor response, painting
12/01/2012 18:21:31 errors, etc) it may be disabled via: '-noscr'
12/01/2012 18:21:31 Also see the -help entry for tuning parameters.
12/01/2012 18:21:31 You can press 3 Alt_L's (Left "Alt" key) in a row to
12/01/2012 18:21:31 repaint the screen, also see the -fixscreen option for
12/01/2012 18:21:31 periodic repaints.
12/01/2012 18:21:31
12/01/2012 18:21:31 XKEYBOARD: number of keysyms per keycode 6 is greater
12/01/2012 18:21:31 than 4 and 2 keysyms are mapped above 4.
12/01/2012 18:21:31 Automatically switching to -xkb mode.
12/01/2012 18:21:31 If this makes the key mapping worse you can
12/01/2012 18:21:31 disable it with the "-noxkb" option.
12/01/2012 18:21:31 Also, remember "-remap DEAD" for accenting characters.
12/01/2012 18:21:31
12/01/2012 18:21:31 X FBPM extension not supported.
12/01/2012 18:21:31 X display is capable of DPMS.
