The fix is commit e376573f7267390f4e1bdc552564b6fb913bce76 ('drm/radeon: fall
back to GTT if bo creation/validation in VRAM fails.'), and commit
2b66b50b12cabc05f05543e792d4c9c2465d5702 ('drm/radeon/kms: Fix retrying
ttm_bo_init() after it failed once.') fixes up a problem of the fix in the BO
creation path.

Yeah, the fix first appeared in 2.6.36, though I think it was backported to
some stable branch(es) as well.
