Alex, can you tell me how to switch from master to the other git branches?

And about the other bugs: I guess the cause could be the same, but the result
is totally different. I'm getting a *hard lockup*: no pinging, no SysReq Key
works...
I wish it was just a crash or Xorg hanging :)
