You're probably right... Too bad though that one now has to abandon his
distro kernel if wanting to try out bleeding edge GPU drivers. Well, I'm
sure this has been discussed at length already ;-) Given some time, the
distro's base kernel might be good enought to be able to just try out
different kernel modules.
