strange behavior on Radeon 7000/VE

Hello..

- Im using xf86-video-ati 6.8.0-r1 on 2.6.19-gentoo-r5
- my card is: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc 
  Radeon RV100 QY [Radeon 7000/VE]

Im not using compiz or anything extraordinary..

Is there some way to clear run of graphical applications with this 
configuration, plz?
