which is an AGP card.

All this runs on a AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ with
1GB Dual Channel RAM.

I tried the last official Blender version (2.46) and the current
svn-snapshot. Both shows the same behaviour.
