DVI output not visible on LCD with DVI,

try again after a fresh reboot. Also if you are using LVDS and TMDS
(DVI), make sure you set your monitorlayout option to LVDS, TMDS as we
don't currently detect that combo properly yet. Can you post your log
and config somewhere?
