DVI output not visible on LCD with DVI,
VGA output works -- (MergedFB on Ubuntu Edgy,

I noticed git had a few newer commits, specially Roland's "fix
uninitialized mode regs (bug 9495)" so I updated my brach, rebuilt and
did a full restart to give the bios a chance to write something to the
registers.., as 9506f7015a1e442f4ca0bd3bfae555ec7e8a5f37 seems to
imply needs happening.
And still no go -- DVI dead dead, VGA with a signal full of black, black pixels.
off to sleep now!
