Oops, yes, now I see that using exaGetPixmapFirstPixel() was wrong. I
did that change in the savage driver first, where it seemed to work (I
could smoke test on hardware). I seem to remember I picked this "fix"
from somewhere else, but it could very well be that I misinterpreted
something.

If nobody can find the real problem that is maybe all that can be done.
