Hello

I am on Kubuntu 10.04, and using the keyboards as provided by xkb.

However the us keyboard with the intl variant, allows to
type "a and to obtain ä

(I presume this is adiaeresis, but I am not sure)

Although I see in the configuration file (/usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/us
the symbol ssharp

key <AC02> { [         s,          S,        ssharp,          section ]};

I don't know how to type it

"s does not work.

can somebody tell me how to change the configure file, such that

typing

"s gives ß????

thanks

Uwe Brauer
