[PATCH 0/5] xserver: configuration/packaging janitorial maintenance

This set of patches is representative of the maintenance planned for all
252 xorg modules. It originated  from fixing build related bugs here and
there. Patterns emerged and opportunities for enhancements were pursued.
The domain of the changes are the modules configuration and packaging,
no C code change and no impact on object code of any kind.

Some of the work involved completing enhancements designed by others,
but unfinished due to the volume. Other work originates from new ideas
or simply fixing inconsistencies and warnings. I have documented the
changes in the wiki http://wiki.x.org/wiki/NewModuleGuidelines. This
will help understanding the patches.

24183 Several components are including autogen.sh in the distribution
tar file 
24242 Deploy the new XORG_DEFAULT_OPTIONS
24206 Several INSTALL, NEWS, README and AUTHORS files are
missing/incorrect 
24239 gitignore enhancement: common template with default values for
components 
24432 Makefile.am: ChangeLog is not required in EXTRA_DIST or
MAINTAINERCLEANFILES 

Some supporting pre-requisites are included in util-macros. These
bug/enhancement reports are used for all xorg modules, not specifically
for xserver.
