The i810 series supports Intel's original x86 iGPU from 1999. If you have need to
use an 810 or 815 iGPU, you have the world's sympathy. GPUs didn't come much worse
in their day. Unless you're an afficionado of antique PCs, you don't want to need
the i810 kernel driver to build. Most newer Intel iGPUs need an i915 or newer
kernel device driver.

As Ken already wrote, most iGPUs since around 2008 can run X well on the newer
technology "modesetting" device independent X (DIX) driver packaged with the X
server. As a consequence, the xf86-video-intel device dependent X (DDX) driver
hasn't had an official release in nearly a decade.

All that said, Debian 11 is providing an Intel DDX that works with my relic
i810 iGPU:
