Hi list,

on my system running an xorg-server 1.20.5, each call to xrandr, e.g.

> xrandr --listproviders

produces an entry in /var/log/Xorg.0.log like:

[   431.605] (II) modeset(0): EDID vendor "BOE", prod id 1739
[   431.605] (II) modeset(0): Printing DDC gathered Modelines:
[   431.605] (II) modeset(0): Modeline "1920x1080"x0.0  151.30  1920 1968 2000 2212  1080 1083 1089 1140 +hsync -vsync (68.4 kHz eP)
[   431.605] (II) modeset(0): Modeline "1920x1080"x0.0  117.73  1920 1968 2000 2190  1080 1083 1089 1120 +hsync -vsync (53.8 kHz e)
[   431.615] (II) modeset(0): EDID vendor "BOE", prod id 1739

Is it possible to suppress this? I call xrandr repeadetly and this causes Xorg.0.log to get very big...

Thanks and regards,
Christian
