No - I'm surprised to see it's listed in the man page, because there's
no code in the program for it, and I don't remember there ever being
code for it.

Looking in our current git history, it's not been supported since
X.Org took the code from X11R6.6 & XFree86 4.4 in 2005, and in the
ancient X Consortium history I finally found the code for it being
removed back in 1991:

I guess they missed the man page update then.
