x11 for OS Yosemite?

Is it possible to design a version of this software for the new version of apple software? I used this program to open cad files I had designed on my pc that I use for my business. Since I updated, I can no longer open those files. I did not know it would not be compatible with the new software. If a new version is being created, how long will it take to be created?
