this should probably read 98 instead of 111? and do I read this right that
you're getting keycode 98 but your keymap says up should be 111? if so,
somehow the evdev ruleset is being applied on your keymap (despite the log
saying it isn't). do you have any client running that sets the keymap?

that's even stranger, since if evdev was applied by mistake, this should
read evdev+....
