Using Xorg radeon with a CRT screen

Your display may not support vertical refresh of 80 or more @ 1600x1200. Try 
dropping that 80-180 to 60-180 and see what happens. Also try removing 
xorg.conf entirely. Recent Xorg versions are rather magical when not constrained.
