Graphics crash on Intel G41 under 3.7-rc3

I have just experienced a graphics hang/crash when running Fedora 16 x86_64 with latest updates and linux-3.7-rc3. The affected application was gnome-shell, but the session was unable to recover from this. I switched to the text console and captured dmesg 
and i915_error_state. The one thing of notice was that I was compiling the 3.7-rc4 kernel at the time of the crash. I was unable to use cat to capture i915_error_state since it complained of an out-of-memory condition, so I used cp instead.
